Fourth of July - We were determined to see fireworks this year we went to two different locations in San Antonio. The military bases usually have fireworks but since the sequester was happening they did want to put funds towards the fireworks when so many people were having their hours cut. We tried two different locations, the first was Woodlawn Lake and the second was Fiesta Texas. Both were packed with little parking. We finally decided to go to get an ice cream cone. As we were driving away from Fiesta Texas I noticed cars along the highway. So I told my husband to pull over we ended up parking and standing along the frontage road. We had a great view and when we were down we didn't have to fight all the people leaving the area. Wahoo - it was a win-win!
